Waurika Middle School teachers evaluate ELA and math benchmarks in a recent Data Team Meeting with Alpha Plus Facilitator LeAnn Johnson. Today, we honor Jacqueline Jackson, a second-grade teacher at Pershing Elementary in Muskogee. Ms. Jackson uses common formative quizzes to assess student mastery of OAS objectives in reading and math. To ensure her students are learning the academic standards of the state of Oklahoma, Ms. Jackson monitors their progress as part of preparing each child for third grade.
